Upgrading to Zimbra 8.7: Part 1
Zimbra 8.7 requires Zimbra Proxy and memcached to be installed before the upgrade is performed. Three articles came in useful for doing this (the last two were due to a Null Pointer Exception being thrown when the nginx configuration files were being generated - this was due to the server having been renamed and its old name was left in Zimbra’s configuration).
In the last article, the last post mentioned a couple configuration values that lead me to the solution for the NPE:

Check the values listed from these and make sure only valid servers are listed:

zmprov gacf zimbraReverseProxyUpstreamLoginServers
zmprov gacf zimbraReverseProxyAvailableLookupTargets

ASUS PB287Q on a MacBook Pro
I recently added a 4K ASUS monitor to my Mid 2014 MacBook Pro, and was quite dismayed to find that the only option for a HiDPI scaled display was for 1080P. After a bit of searching, the answer ended up being rather easy. Out of the box, the monitor was set to use DisplayPort 1.1. By going into the monitor’s settings and switching this to DisplayPort 1.2, the Mac was willing to show all the scaling options that preserve the clarity I was expecting with a HiDPI display.

The monitor setting:

And the options available on the Mac once I switched it:

GPS Install on BMW R 1200 GS Adventure
GPS mount installed on the bike tonight, for a Zumo 660. Wiring still needs to be completed.

Not completely happy with how the installation went, the BMW cross bar under the windshield seems to scratch just by looking at it, and the clamps for the mount adapter made a mess of it. Most of that's hidden by the clamps, though, so I guess it's all good.

Also noticed I can't pair both the phone and GPS with the scala rider G9 at the same time. Seems you have to pair the GPS to it, then the phone to the GPS, but then I loose streaming music from the phone. Not the solution I was looking for. For now, I guess I will just leave the GPS unpaired unless there's a specific need for it.

Hardware installed: Touratech GPS Mount Adapter, BMW R1200GS Adventure + Garmin Zumo 660 LM GPS + V2.0 Locking Mount Package

Saylorville Dam Overlook for /r/motohunt
The contest theme was:

Try to find a scenic overlook. If you don't have anything that qualifies as a designated "scenic overlook", I'll accept a bike in front of a good view. I think the goal is to get a large landscape behind the bike. Bigger the better. Think of a place where you can get at least a mile of visibility behind the bike.

Not easy in central Iowa. Only lake in the entries so far, though.

My Mom and Her Dad
My mom was always very close to her dad, and I even touched on that a bit in her obituary: “she was raised on a farm NW of Algona, and enjoyed hunting and fishing with her dad and was very much daddy's “little girl.”” He passed away in November 1983. When going through various things at the farm, I found a picture of the two of them along with a poem that she'd cut out and put with it. It seems fitting to share this on Father's Day.

I’m Free
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free
I’m following the path God has laid you see,
I took His hand when I heard Him call
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way
I found that peace at the close of day.
If my parting has left a void
Then fill it with remembered joys,
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Oh yes, these things I too will miss...
Be not burdened with times of sorrow
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow,
My life’s been full, I savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief,
Left up your hearts and peace to thee -
God wanted me now; He set me free...

Front Yard Mushroom
Found this little guy growing in some ground cover in my front yard this morning. Taking a wild guess that since it's something that caught my eye in nature, it's amazingly toxic.
